I did this and it has eliminated my oil consumption. New rebuild and under a lot of boost it would consume about half to a full quart. If you were using a heavy foot a lot of boost this is probably why. Just check it out with every full tank of gas for about the next couple of months just to be sure you didn't blow a turbo out.
