So I have code 34 I did the sensor relocate and sub harness replacement. Reset ECU and still get code 34. I have been told the part of wire that wasn't replaced that goes to the ECU may be grounded. So I was wondering about replacing the rest of the wire. I was thinking just cut it off by the plug and the ECU and run a new piece of wire and splice it in. But when looking around for how to do this I found that its an EMI shielded wire... So my question is how would I go about fixing this wire? You can't just splice in EMI shielded wire because the outer shield right? Also I have searched and searched for a new piece of this wire and I can't find anything except something from mds for an aftermarket ignition and it looks like a bigger wire so idk if that would even work?? Or other things I've found are like wire mesh wraps but only available in long lengths... Any input on this is much appreciated.
