Message Ok so a month ago I ran about 4 gallons of 93 octane with about 10 gallons of toluene. It was great fun. Maxed out around 22.5 PSI for the day.

Well then I turned down my AVCR back to normal but for some reason it was still in self learn mode when I took it out 2 weeks later. I stood up on the pedal at one point thinking I would max out around 16 PSI or so and it over-boosted up to around 20 PSI. My left ear is bad and it seemed like I heard a noise but I am not sure. All gauges seem to be reading in normal parameters (boost, egt, oil pres, fuel pres, temp).

So the Z was at 100% throttle for approximately 2 seconds, PEAKED (spiked maybe?) at 20PSI, then I let off and it just "felt slower"... was it just my butt dyno feeling the placebo effect because I knew I did something bad or should I really be concerned?

Is there anything I can check or should take a look at? I am getting the motor overhauled this summer so I was kinda planning on abusing it but it still hurts... :(
