Message	it is possible for the rear brake circuit to fail, but you won't have any external leakage because the it leaks internal to the MBC. It is only when the primary (Front) seal fails that you get external leakage from the MBC. also, it is possible that the proportioning valve within the MBC has failed too. It isn't a bad idea to rebuild/replace the MBC as preventative maintenance, IMHO
