| my 92 NA. Having done crimp connectors many times on racing outboard ignitions I figured it is OK on the Z. Works fine with no issues. Here is what I did. 1) First placed the crimp connectors on all the new connector wires. Using the smallest crimp coupling connector I could find it was still a bit loose for the wire gage so I folded back the exposed wire for a tight fit into the connector. Then crimped. 2) Cut the old connector out about 1" for connector and removed some insulation and inspected for green corrosion, found some so cut somemore off, repeat till I got no corrosion. Then exposed clean wire to accept the new connector wire. Also folded over the exposed wire for a tight fit into the connector. 3) Placed some heat shrink on the connector wires then crimped connected the new connector to the harness wires. 4) Before heat shrink I coated the crimped connector with hi temp liquid electric tape. Then slid the heat shrink into place and heat shrink with a hair dryer. 5) As a final I wrapped the heat shrink with hi temp electric tape for a complete moisture seal and to look close to original. You might think this over kill but it does work. To keep straight do one injector at a time.
