Message CMC - No fluid leakage by the rod on the inside as well as no drop in fluid level whatsoever

Slave cylinder - Replaced no too long ago

Slave line - Replaced not too long ago

Bleeding - Tons of air in the line from somewhere

Pedal - Very squishy and soft.

I think my oil leakage may be coming from the expensive hoses that run from the pan to the front of the engine bay. Keefe (BoneZ) sent me some of his for free since mine were shot but I think they are still leaking. I need to clean it and investigate further but I need to fix this first.

In the end, air is getting in the line somehow. It doesn't appear to be a bad CM, slave cylinder, or slave line simply based on the fact that the fluid level never drops. Yet, as you stated, if air is getting in the line, it stands to reason that fluid would be escaping the line yet this is not the case.

I think I am going to try to do the reverse bleed method that Taylor mentioned. I'll probably try a pedal adjustment just to see if I can make it driveable first (since it sometimes will still engage right at the floor level) and then I'll work on properly bleeding it.

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
