Message I'm pretty sure the TOB is good to go. I've done my fair share of clutch jobs. Everything lined up perfect. I even remember moving the clutch fork by hand to see it go back and forth.

I keep thinking it has to have something to do with the air in the line. There was a ton of it in there and I just don't understand how. There are other variables as well. They include:

- car would not go into gear while running when it was delivered off the truck
- one day, my friend (who was watching it at his house) said he was able to shift just fine during a test drive. It was out of the blue.
- I went to finally get it from his house and it would not go into gear initially. Then, all of a sudden, I got it to work. The entire drive back to my house was intermittent. Sometimes, it would barely engage all the way at the bottom of the floor while other times, it would not at all.
- There was a ton of air during my bleed session.

I'm guessing, if it were the TOB, it would be constant and not sporadic like this. It sounds like pressure in the line was building and falling over and over again. I am almost certain it has to do with line pressure. I just don't know what to look for right now.

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
