Message Ever since I got my Z back from the shipping company, the clutch has been messed up. I'm assuming there was air in the line and it just made the problem worse due to the possible extreme angle on the truck. When the car is started, it will not go into gear. I can tell the engagement point is all the way at the bottom of pedal travel to the point where it is just missing it. It will sometimes allow me to barely shift but most of the time, it does not.

Anyway, I tried to bleed to the line today and it did absolutely nothing. I noticed that the entire time, there were giant air bubbles as well as small foamy bubbles coming from both the upper and lower position. They never did go away but I have a hard time believing my entire line is one massive air bubble. I went through about a pint and a half before I stopped to see if there was any difference.

While it felt stiff with the car off, as soon as it started, the pedal went limp again and it still won't shift. I am beyond irritated!

Anybody have any ideas?

Never Play Leapfrog With A Unicorn!!!

Do yourself a favor and just worry about your own car. I don't see what everyone is so worried about anyway. If someone else wants to perform a modification that you believe will destroy the value, cheapen the Z32 or whatever you can't sit on your hands about, wouldn't that make your tastefully-modified, white bread Z32 more rare and valuable? -- BradZ (FL) on December 23, 2007 at 12:19 PM
