Message Hello Everyone -

Well, here I am.. it's my first post on this forum. I have owned a 1994 300ZX TT since 2003. I found an absolutely amazing deal in 2003 and bought it second hand with only 36,000 miles. It was a dealer demo in emerald black and he was the first owner. So. Awesome. I bought it from a very wealthy gentleman who had a collection of sports cars but due to health problems couldn't get into the car because it was too low.

Fast forward to 2012 and ~100,000 miles later....

I have replaced the timing belt twice, replaced two fuel injectors, had the engine heads redone and upgraded the intake to a JWT pop charger. I've had the radiator flushed a few times and had a local mechanic replace some hoses. I also replaced the spark plugs once. I think the manual transmission fluid has been changed at least once too. The drivers seat is wearing down but I just ordered leather seat covers from ebay and have a guy who can redo the seats for me.

Overall, the car is still in awesome shape. I faithfully changed the oil every 3000-3500 miles.

Now I am dreaming of the GTR but realized that I am short about $97,000 dollars for that car, but hey, I've got a 300ZX TT.... so ... first worlds problems, eh?

I need help here.... This car is my daily driver and I want it to be reliable but I want to upgrade it and get more out of it without sacrificing long term reliability... so... here is where I am asking for help.

I want to get at least another 5-10 years out of this car. Which upgrades will get me some more horsepower without ending me up at the mechanic every 3 months or so? Exhaust? Which one? ECU? Which one?

In terms of mechanical ability I can change my oil and installed the intake myself, but that's about it.

Any help or advice appreciated.

Jeff
