Subject	Oil filter tree question

Message	So, I have managed to break one of the bolt hole flanges on my oil filter tree, short of ordering a new one, which I can't find except on z1, or driving 2 hours to the only junkyard that has a z car, are there any other options? I found one entry about just mounting the filter to the block, as my car is an NA, and that it would work. But I have no idea how to do this, thought maybe un screwing the oil filter reciever threads and puting it on the block where the that hole in the middle is, but I can't get the threads to budge. Any idea how to do this? Or should I start driving?
