Message	an issue with fuel pressure. I have noticed the fuel pump and controller making random whining noises at idle occasionally, and twice my fuel pump whined loudly from startup through an entire 10-mile drive. But these are rare occurrences and definitely not the norm. My last tank of gas only yielded 15mpg, but I was also testing a lot sitting still, and I dumped a lot of fuel when I disconnected the fuel filter.
