| My LF kingpin/kingpin bearing is loose.. as there is play in the kingpin housing.. im assuming the bearing is worn out? I am wondering if I need to just replace the bearing.. or replace the kingpin itself and the bearing? The play is exactly as if the upper ball joint were to be loose.. except this kingpin is in the ball joints place. (ive only heard of these on old ford trucks didnt know the z32 had them until recently!) I have also read that the kingpin is usually rusted solid and some people had to replace the knuckle? I have access to a oxy/acetylene torch so thats not an issue if a little heat is needed. Any links to a how to guide / experience with replacing these? Thanks much.
