I was told by JWT that "...The factory detonation sensor system was designed to read detonation at low rpm only (below 3500 RPM). Above that the detonation sensor circuit is off since the engine harmonics are too busy and noisy to accurately measure during those conditions.".
Does anyone have any experience or information that indicates the detonation sensor will cause action to be taken in the higher RPM ranges?
