hey everyone. i have posted this on other forums have had good info but not fixed yet. History--- PO had a battery that was to tall for the holder with a piece of cardboard over the terminals. after having the car for quite some time i cleaned it up and threw out the cardboard shut the hood walked away for about 30 sec. to turn around and see smoke coming from the hood. ouch!! i changed the battery and replaced the blue fusible link that got fried. started the car no problem. turn the key back to off and the car still stays running. all acc turn off but not the motor. items replaced battery, blue fusible link, alternator, ecu, relays, ignition switch. car runs better than ever just wont turn off. the safest way i have found to stop it is to remove the fuel pump relay then the ground to the battery.
