Subject	coilover, carbon canister advice requested

Message	Couple of questions: I compared my coilover to the stock shock. Should I set these up to be roughly the same length? When I install it, I have to push down on the hub with my foot just to get the coilover to squeeze in there. More importantly, notice how the spring doesn't actually get compressed at its normal setting. Is this alright? Can someone remind me what do I do with the two open pipes for the carbon canister? I have an open vent tube in the engine bay as well. The pictures looked different from Robo's, so I'm left wondering if the tube at the bottom is supposed connect to the vent tube in the engine bay?
