Message Just a thought but most of them are from auto Zs. Did you remove the auto pilot bushing from the end of the crank? I would assume you did or you wouldnt have been able to get the 5-speed pilot bushing into place.

Also I saw your post on the IC piping and such install. Is that all connected already? If so your engine would be in its normal install state. Most people have the engine leaning back which helps aid in getting the tranny in. Even with the tranny leaning back, I lift the tranny on the tranny jack up into place so that the bell housing is even with the engine but leave the back slightly lower. This way I can lift up on the back of the tranny to "level" it with the back of the engine and it slides right in. Leaves me some wiggle room that I can control to get the tranny to slide into place.
