Message	necessary repairs with the engine in the car. Considering your milage (and I don't know what that is) and the age of these cars perhaps it is time to pull the engine out and give it a thorough go through. If you find a mess in the bottom end then perhaps a rebuild or exchange for a short block might be in order. Now would also be the time for a new harness (if you don't have one already) and a few hoses.
