Message I have a dead spot in my steering wheel. When going straight i can wiggle the wheel about half an inch either direction without it really doing anything. If i'm holding the wheel at a constant angle while turning and then want to turn the wheel back i have that same amount of dead zone before it will actually start turning the wheels of the car.

Currently my car has Tein S tech springs and KYB agx shocks, 300* camber kit and Bernie's camber shims. i have -1.1 degrees of camber up front. Because of the extra shims in there and my lack of negative camber, in order for my caster to be set correctly, me wheel is extremely far forward in my wheel well and rubbing. I am about to swap out the Tein's for Eibach springs and remove the extra shim, leaving only the 300* kit and then get an allignment.

Could my current strange allignment setup be whats causing my lack of steering response? or is it more likely to be steering rack, steering rack bushings, or U Joint?

i'd like to only have to get one allignment so it'd be great if i could take care of everything at once.
