Subject	How to get A/C system purged or drained?

Message	Pulling the engine for a N/A to TT conversion and I am tryng to get the A/C lines and or system drained but it seems like no professional will touch it becuase it supposedly uses the old R12 coolant. Anyone have suggestions on how theyve gotten this done either professionally or done it themselves?
