on a customer's Z. The driver side door lock actuator was bad. Replacing it allowed the pass side door to unlock automatically when the driver door was unlocked. Have you verified that your door lock actuator is working? Apparently the circuitry required to unlock the pass side door lock actuator is tied into the driver side door lock actuator...so if it is bad neither side will work.
