My friend who's Z I've been working on lately was run into last week someone came head on into the driver's front wheel. The usual suspects are toast, fascia, fender, coolant reservoir. It snapped the steering tie rod and bent the hell out of the lower control arm. I haven't been able to look extremely closely, but it did not look like the subframe was damaged, also I can't find any frame damage. It looks like the wheel took all of the damage, didn't even hit the fog light mount. My question is, what else should I look for? Did snapping the tie rod damage the rack? I'm sure there will be some toasted bushings, we might just replace everything on that corner to be safe. BTW, the insurance company totalled it. She's had it since '92, she's not giving up that easily, we're keeping it alive.
