Message	by one of my kids. I had purchased a tester similar to the one shown and decided to give try. The car had a very distinct smell of coolant out the exhaust, white smoke while accelerating and temperature gauge overheating issues -- all the classic symptoms. Head re-decking and a new HG did fix the problem. Problem was, I couldn't get the test kit to turn color -- so I'm guessing there are times when it doesn't work?
