| And it does the same thing.. I ended up checking my wiring.. and the ground was not as good as it needed to be. Thats all it was for me. Did the exact same thing.. If I turned the volume up to where it was loud.. the headunit would dim when the bass hit.. then it would shut off.. then come back on after a few seconds. As for your diming of your lights.. do as Jzack mentioned about testing the battery voltage when the car is running.. Clean your terminals or replace. Even if they look clean. clean them anyway. Make sure your grounds are good as well.
