Subject	Initial Steering Rack Alignment - Ground Zero

Message	I rebuilt my rack, and have no tie rods connected. Like an idiot, I through away the numbers I had recorder which were to help align me when I connected everything back. The U-joint is not connected to the rack atm. Can I simply measure the rod coming out of each end of the steering rack until they are equal, and then just connect the U-joint up to the rack, assuming of course the steering wheel is straight. I'm hopeful any small adjustments after that can be taken care of by rotating the tie rod a turn or two to move it in/out by a 1-2mm.
