Message So I've determined that my fuel system will hold 25psi over night if the engines cold. If I shut the engine off hot the pressure will drop to zero within a few hours. In both cases I had the feed and return lines pinched shut.

I've been told that the fuel expands when hot and that it makes sense that the pressure drops as it cools. I agree with that but I want to know if dropping to zero is normal. Those of you with fuel pressure gauges...do you have any pressure in the mornings after previously driving it the day before? You would need to check it before turning the key to on since the engine primes the fuel pump.
