Subject	Sounds like a bad MAF. I would test with a known good one.

Message	I saw your post below also.. If you can see the element inside, you might try cleaning it off with some MAF cleaner spray. If it looks clean already, cleaning will probably not help. Check the classifieds for people selling known good MAF's. People post them often.
