Message How are you verifying that the problem is after the filter by the way? There's no check valve or anything.

I have seen FPRs fail and prevent the car from building pressure, though. Does it still start and run?

If it's losing pressure after sitting, it's probably either leaking into the engine (especially if you just replaced an injector), leaking externally, or the rubber line on the fuel pump assembly is leaking (the one that goes from the pump to the top of the housing).
