Subject	Alternator belt squeaks continuously after new belts install

Message	I removed my A/C belt because I was having problems with the compressor. So, I'm running with only the ALT and PS belts. Now I can't get the Alt belt to stop squeaking. I spray a dab of WD40 and it stops for a second. Tightening the belt seems to make the crank work harder as all of the tension is to one side now. Initially the squeaking stopped after the car warmed. I then tightened the belt, and now it squeaks constantly. Any ideas? Thanks!
