Message	hosing. Not all that big of an issue for locations which can be easily checked from time to time. I've really never had a band clamp destroy a hose before it was replaced due to age, etc. However for more critical applications like fuel lines I prefer to use an aircraft grade stamped band clamp (no holes cut all the way thru).
