Leave the metal "prong" side of the wire that grabs onto the sparkplug alone. Remove your #1 coilpack and stick the sparkplug wire, the exposed wire side up inside it. Connect the other end to #1 spark plug using a screwdriver or whatever to make sure it "snaps" into place on the sparkplug.
