Yesterday the temperature gauge would barely rise above cold. I blasted the climate control on high and it was 'warm'. When the car would be at a standstill the climate control would blow hotter air. I pulled over after driving on the highway for a while and lifted the hood. The engine was barely warm, plenum nowhere near as hot as it usually would be. I am assuming this would be a thermostat issue? Is there a way to test (ie; link) I recently replaced the radiator and am kicking myself for not changing the thermostat then. That being said, the car gets put into storage mid-oct. Would I be doing any damage by driving it until then without the change, afterwhich, I could just do the full 60K maintenance then? Seems like a lot of steps to just change the thermostat.
