:going bad (due to moisture). Just unplug it from the harness connector and see if that fixes the issue? Mine is permanently disconnected and removed to cut down on engine bay clutter. :Probably a similar issue with the door pin switch too. Try removing and cleaning it. At least with the hood switch eliminated, problem solution is narrowed down... I did that and its still the same. If all pin switches are unpluged this should fix the problem? If a pin switch is bad unplugging it would trick the car into believing that its closed? How does the pin switch work?
