| I was thinking of getting an aftermarket temp gauge. I saw that Z1 sells an elbow that is already tapped for the aftermarket temp sensor that comes with the gauge. Is it necessary to use the aftermarket sensor? I currently have a '96 sensor with the connector spliced into my '95 EFI harness in my '93 TT (I'm all over the place here). Is it possible to just splice into the OEM wiring or is the aftermarket sensor the only (or better) way to go?
