Subject	test procedure for knock sensor?

Message	hey everyone. just wondering how i'd isolate weather my knock sensor or the sub harness is bad. the engine is in the car. i'm thinking i test the harness by continuity through the two leads of the subharness and the actual sensor from ohming through the two leads. but i am not sure if the sensor actually makes continuity or not. also i do not have the ohm specs for the sensor. lastly, i am not sure if it was my knock sensor that was like this, but i believe only one wire was actually in the connector to the sensor, the other was dead right before the connector. i am under the impression that this is correct. anyone have some insight?
