| Ok so a little change in direction here. Went out earlier and pulled the vac line off the balance tube/damper. Put another piece of vac line back on the balance tube and clamped to the two shut. I figured trying it that way before taking the damper off would be ideal. Primed it twice, tried starting up and it started up and quickly died like usual. When I unclamped the vac line on the damper, all I smelled was rubber, no fuel. I must have been smelling fuel from when I took off the balance tube last time, thinking it was from the balance tube/damper vac line. Any thoughts? Fuel pressure goes as follows: primes to 44, spikes to 55ish when cranked, car starts then dies, fuel pressure slowly dies out within a few hours.
