| '96 TT 5 speed, 133K. This is my only mod. Installed it, took it for a drive, and noticed that at high rpms and boost I heard what I would describe as pinging the rattling in a can sound. My car is totally stock besides the POP charger and I've never heard this sound before. One wrench to throw is that I just filled up at a station that's kind of a hole in the wall, but I used it because it has separate hoses for the different grades and no ethanol; plus it was a few cents cheaper. I realize that could be it, but I'm a little surprised a stock car would experience this. Timing was previously set at 15 and I checked my boost levels the other day with an aftermarket gauge to be at 9.5 psi. Advice on where to begin? I do have a station that sells 101 I could go to.
