After getting my Z back on the road it has been hell bent on frustrating me. While driving it I had a decent amount of slop in the rear end. I had recently added the following
New OEM motor mounts New NISMO tranny mount
In an attempt to fix the slop issue I installed front diff bushings and while that helped some it didn't fix the problem. I then drove the car 70 miles at HWY speeds to get my body kit put back on and the problem guy much worse I higher speeds. It literally felt like my back end was having to catch up and once the slack as taken out (IE constant acceleration) it was fine.
I assumed that I just needed to do the rear diff bushings but as I was getting ready to replace them I noticed this:
Is that much slack normal? I feel like this might have been my issue all along, I i just don't have a reference point for how much movement it is supposed to have.
