Here is the before... When I start the car (cold/warm/hot) a light on the dash blinks. There is no symbol, just the amber light, but I assume it has to do with the transmission. If/when that light blinks and I put the car into gear, I notice that it feels like it is in 2nd or 3rd gear. One other thing that I noticed is that on my Blitz Power Meter, it will show that my max speed was 90 mph+, even if it was just reset and my car is not moving. So I think the computer or something is sending a signal thinking the car is moving even though it is not. My car has a used transmission in it and it had this issue prior to and after installation. If I turn off the car and restart it, it will be fine. Some times it takes a couple tries, but it will work. It is happening more often so its annoying. I tried to manually run for codes doing the whole, turn on, off, put in D, 2...thing specified in the manual, but I cant get it to do the diag. I might be doing something wrong there. Another thing that I noticed is that I had my cruise on yesterday and it deactivated while driving. It was still in the on/off mode, but would not set. I looked at my Blitz PM and it said I was 0mph. If I turned the cruise off of standby using the side pod, the speed on the Blitz bounced around and eventually read the proper speed. Turning the cruise on again, it went back to reading 0mph. HERE IS THE NOW: I ended up cutting the wires that were spliced into the revolution sensor wire. I did not CUT the factory wire. The 2 things I had spliced into it was for my BLITZ Power Meter and my Pioneer Nav unit. Since then, my trans light has not blinked, but now... Immediatly after cutting the wires, I drove home and my car drove fine. Later that same day, I took my car out for a spin and gave it med-heavy accel and it seemed as though the trans was slipping. I since have noticed that it in fact feels like a slip, and ALSO does not want to shift out of gear unless I take my foot off the accelerator. Fluid is new and level is ok. I have not tried to re-attached the wires I cut since they were not factory items, they should not have caused this issue.
