When I first got my Z in 2009 I started having code 34 problems. I looked at the documentation that came with the car and the previous owner had started to have some trouble with it. A nissan tech had cut the old sensor harness off and spliced a new pigtail on. I started to throw a code ever couple of minutes, boosting or not. I figured I had a bad sensor so I got a new one with a new harness and did a relocate. Still, I am throwing codes like it's the cool thing to do. Then my car drops an injector and is down for two years....Until this weekend. I'm finally done modding and getting things buttoned back up. Now I have nistune, a new knock sensor and harness in stock location. I turn on power and connect my laptop and look at my Consult gauges and without even starting the car my knock is all over the map. I don't know what the knock is measured in but the counter was shooting up and the gauge was showing readings all over the place. I now think I have a bad ECU. Any input?
