what does it smell, feel, look like? could be power steering could be a rear main seal etc, there is no gasket between the bell housing and rear of the engine only the metal plate which I suppose could be considered a gasket. there are gaskets inside such as for the rear main. It does not hold any fluid inside the bell housing its just the clutch and components
