| I've confirmed spark & fuel, so I've narrowed it down to air. When I did a boost leak test, I couldn't hold any pressure. So I'm slowly taking pieces out and pressurizing the system 1 step at a time. I found a fairly large leak at the passenger side turbo inlet - turns out the previous owner stripped out one of the holes and helicoiled it with two helicoils (one next to the other). One of the two pulled itself out when I was replacing the bolt after re-seating the gasket. So, I get to try to do that with the engine in...I'm hopeful, but also realistically sort of expecting to have to pull the motor. Pressurized the passenger IC piping and that was fine. Moved on to the plenum - capped both sides with a 2" Sewer cap and tried to fill with a basketball needle. It wouldn't hold pressure at all. Is this a problem? I'm wondering if it will never hold pressure due to the PCV system. I don't know enough about it to be sure. I had to replace the head gaskets (compression is good), so I also replaced all valve cover gaskets, plenum gaskets and did the PCV reroute. Any other suggestions as to why it won't start would be appreciated.
