Before this AC issue came about I was tackling another issue related to my timing. I had everything torn down to inspect the timing belt. In this process I had removed the radiator shroud and the lower engine shroud. So even with the evap being clear of debris, it still was getting hot. The Aux fan wouldn't kick on because the engine temp wouldn't rise. I went ahead and put the shrouds back on last night and monitored the pressures, they were lower and steady, but still seemed a bit high around 350psi. Not a deal breaker, but I thought I could get them lower. I pulled the front engine can to take a real good look at the evap. It wasn't too bad where the fan was, but the lower row or 2 was much worse than I had thought from peaking in with a flashlight. I got a radiator comb, and air compressor and some soap and water and let my OCD do the work. Hand picked anything that looks like it would obstruct air flow and fixing a few nickle sized bent fins. The actual radiator is new so I didn't have an issue there. I put it all back together and turned on the AC, problem solved. Temps inside are ice cold, and high side pressure stays around 250-280.
