Subject	Proper gas/air mixture indicators

Message	The exhaust outlets on my 91 2+2 have a black sooty coating on the inside surface which used to mean that a car was running rich. Is that also the case with the 300 Zs or do they all leave a black deposit regardless of gas/air balance? If it was running rich, how would you adjust the ECM to lean it? P.S. Tnx all for the advice on how best to replace the shifter bushings. Total cost was $6.31 and 4 hours of hard work but now as good as new.
