| I spent yesterday debugging this issue (see previous post previous post) And I am still unsure what is going on. Since the problem showed up after I added the Selin dual MAF translator, I started there. I reinstalled the single MAF setup and the problem appeared to go away. At least I do not feel any flat spot. So I tried the the second MAF in the single config and Ah Ha! the flat spot returned. At this point I am excited and relieved. I just need a new MAF. As a sanity check I decided to datalog the MAF, TPS, and A/F ratio. I started with the suspect MAF and sure enough I can see where the A/F goes lean at 2400-2600rpm but in looking at the MAF signal it doesn't seem to be non linear. It actually looks about like I think it should. So I logged the good MAF. Now I am really confused. The good MAF data looks VERY similar to the suspect MAF. In fact it shows a similar lean condition at the 2400-2600 range but I do not feel the flat spot with it installed. So now I am back to where I started. I have no idea if it is a MAF issue or something else like the TPS. Anyone better at deciphering logged data than I am is welcome to review the info. I set the logs up as CSV files here: Suspect MAF Log Good? MAF Log Any help greatly appreciated!
KKROFFTNow occurs everywhere, simultaneously. But it doesn't have to be experienced the moment it happens. Every now that ever was is still exactly when it was, when it was now. Then, in terms of perception, is nothing more than all the nows that are no longer now. Thus, the difference between now and then is when. --The Waystoppers Users' Manual
