So im possitive the seals have to be bad. I posted earlier about a smoke issue narrowing it down to the injectors leaking. I took off the plenum AGAIN and did find a pinched o-ring. The problem is have run into is ALL the seals, even the non leaking ones, were freakin huge from fuel and only had been in for a day or two. The old ones werent huge and they were in for fifteen years! Now I bought these from Z1 and assumed they would be off quality but now I know the reason they sell the VITON seals for more money. How could these seals I bought be so terrible,? Are they chinease or something? Another thing that bothers me is I put it back together after letting them sit for a while and made sure to push them all in by hand with lots of lube. I then hooked up the fuel to them and checked for leaks but found none, but once in the car it smokes like mad and hesisitates until higher RPMS just like before making me believe that they are leaking again. Could they not leak outside the car and they once installed start leaking all the sudden? Im really getting fed up with with these injectors leaking and have taken every precaution and have come to believe that the seals from Z1 are inferior products if you dont buy the viton seals. If anyone has any insight into my delima I could really use some help.
