I just experienced what may be a coincidence, but I loosened my gas cap and drove around, and the car appeared to lose fuel pressure fast and started hesitating badly under hardly any throttle. I pulled over and felt the fuel line post-fuel-filter, and it felt pretty soft. I haven't yet soldered up my fuel pressure gauge, but I'm assuming that having the gas cap loose kept the tank from developing pressure necessary for pump operation. Does that sound correct/plausible to anyone else?
Thanks
