Message Ok, looking for some advice even after considerable reading on similar issues.

I will try to explain this as best I can. Under normal driving conditions the clutch feels fine with about 1" of pedal free play at the top.

Now occassionally when I get into boost for short spurts and press the clutch the pedal free play seems to be about 2-3" and then is very stiff. Also on long drives in hot weather and after a period of not depressing the pedal when I finally do depress the pedal I have almost and entire pedal of free play with maybe 1" of pressure before bottoming out on the floor.

Everything is stock from what I can tell, slave, master, pivot ball, clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. Also from reading I am assuming that I may possibly have air in the lines and may need a clutch pedal adjustment all of which I have not yet checked. I know I might be answering my own questions here, but was wondering if anyone has had similar symptoms lately and what they did to fix it.

The car is for sale and I am expecting my first child here in about 5 days, hence why I am being lazing in just asking and not fixing (also have no space to work on it right now). I would like to give some advice to who ever might purchase the car from me on things to look for.

Thanks
