Subject	Cant get the passenger door open. Need Help !

Message	I could not get the passanger side door to open so I broke the large plastic lock that is bolted to the inside of the door ( held by 3 screws ). I installed a spare one that I had and opened and closed 5 times without any issues ( when I say closed it, I took a flat head and manuely pushed the latch in the closed possition ). Everything worked fine untill I locked and unlocked the door. Now the locking arm will not spring open. All push rods are connected. This is my wife's 1990 2+2. Trying to fix this befor Zcon.
