| I took the speedo out earlier today and noticed the corrosion on the PCB but it didn't look like any traces were affected. Then I saw a post from someone here who mapped out the ground and positive points so I decided to pull it again and check. Sure enough I had no continuity on a very small trace on the positive side - hit by time, heat, and corrosion. I took some small speaker wire and soldered a joint togother and voila! On a note to others my symptoms were: 1.) Speedometer failure - Odometer and all other instruments fine. Cruise Control operational. 2.) Hicas light intermittent - reset by ignition. 3.) Power steering low/high adjustment failure. Hope this helps others and a big kudos to DVDBURN (MD) for posting the pic (below)!
