Subject	Can anyone tell my why my fuel system isn't priming?

Message	I've searched for hours, and I know that I posted below, but I still have no solid answers. I feel like there should be an answer to this, even though I have had a few good leads. The problem is that the fuel system doesn't prime when I turn the key to on. But then starts after about 3 seconds of cranking. So there must be reason why the pump wouldn't prime the system. Why? Thanks for any advice. My eyes are getting blurry from reading. -Eric
